CCSJ致力于确保我们大学社区成员的安全。 为了实现这一目标，并根据2008年高等教育法，20 U.S.C.§1092(j)，学校制定了以下失踪学生通知政策和程序。

1.      If a member of the university community suspects that a student may be missing, they should 立即 notify 校园安全. 此外，失踪人口报告可向下列办事处递交：

a. Vice President of Academic Affairs
b. Vice President of Student Engagement 和 Retention
c. Office of Resident Life
d. 体育运动

向上述任何办公室提交的正式失踪学生报告必须立即提交给校园安全部门。

2.      收到学生失踪报告后，校园安全部将收集信息填写失踪人员报告表格，包括但不限于：

·        name, location, 和 contact information of the person who reported the student missing;

·        name, vital information, 和 a detailed description of the student reported as missing;

·        the circumstances in which the student was last seen or heard from;

·        list of known associates, addresses 和 contact information;

·        name/addresses of persons present at the scene.

3.      校园安全部门在确定学生是否失踪时将考虑的其他信息包括但不限于以下内容：

3. 1. 在合理努力通过电话、电子邮件和/或亲自尝试建立联系后，学生失去联系24小时；
   2. 情节表明涉及犯罪行为的；
   3. 情况表明人身安全处于危险之中的；
   4. 存在可能威胁生命或健康的医疗状况； 和/或
   5. 残疾：身体或精神残疾的存在

住在校内宿舍的学生可以选择保密地确定一个人，只有在学生确定失踪超过24小时的情况下，学院才会联系这个人。  如果学生确认了失踪人员，学院将在确定该学生失踪后不迟于24小时通知该人员。  在确定学生失踪的情况下，除了确定一般紧急联系人之外，还可以选择确定联系人，但这两个联系人可以是同一个人。  学生的保密联系信息只有经过授权的校园官员才能访问，并且只有在进一步调查失踪学生时才会向执法人员披露。

希望指定保密联系人的学生可以通知住宿生活和学生项目主任。

如果校园安全部门确定居住在校内宿舍的学生失踪超过二十四（24）小时，校园安全部门将启动紧急联系程序。

通知程序

1.      当校园安全或当地执法部门确定任何居住在校园宿舍的学生失踪24小时时，学校将在24小时内通知以下人员：

·        the emergency contact, if one has been specified by the student;

·        the parents or guardians of any student who is under the age of 18 和 not an emancipated minor; 和

·        local law enforcement (unless local law enforcement made the determination)

2.      本政策和程序不妨碍校园安全在学生失踪后24小时内启动这些和其他紧急通知程序，如果校园安全认为学生失踪的情况需要提前通知。
